Sharron Forsberg, MSN, APRN-NP

I have been in the nursing field for almost 30 years with experience as a Registered Nurse in Intensive Care and as a Nurse Case Manager with an Oncology Stem Cell Transplant program. I graduated with my Master’s degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2016 and began working with Nebraska Cancer Specialists in February of 2017. Oncology is a very interesting field offering many learning opportunities. It is a privilege to care for our oncology patients, to hear the stories they share that define them beyond their cancer diagnosis.

My Advance Practice board certification is Acute Care Adult-Gerontology. I have a special interest in the older adult population going through cancer treatment. My goal for our older adult patients is to help maintain their quality of life and independence during their cancer treatment.
