Mia Stoltenberg, PA-CRespect for patient autonomy, honest communication, and compassion for the whole person are what motivate Mia in providing care to patients at NCS. She is committed to evidence-based medicine while valuing symptom control, overall well-being, and empathy for patients and families facing uncertain times. Mia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Pre-Health Professions from Creighton University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Outside of work, Mia enjoys spending time with her husband and family, going out with friends, walking her puppy, traveling, trying new restaurants, and staying active through skiing and hiking. She was a competitive figure skater growing up and is a United States Figure Skating Association gold medalist. She recently completed her first half marathon and loves cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. You’ll see Mia most often in the Methodist and Legacy clinics at NCS. She is a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. |
