Community Oncology Difference

The physicians at NCS are independent community oncologists and offer highly personalized and immediate care. Our regional specialists work in collaboration with referring providers, allow for the availability of second opinions if needed, and provide access to multiple clinical trials. Our oncologists are on the medical staff of local hospitals and personally follow patients when they are admitted. Like other community oncology practices, Nebraska Cancer Specialists has the staff and resources to provide needed treatments and care in a personal, local, and convenient setting. The majority of community oncologists’ time is spent in direct patient care.
