Debra Reeg, APRN-NP

As the daughter of a nurse, I have always known that I wanted to take care of people for a living. My mom was and is the most caring and compassionate nurse that I have ever met. When I was in High School, I worked in our small town Nursing Home. I attending nursing school at Nebraska Methodist College and have been a nurse for 30 years. I started my career doing Pediatric Oncology and this sparked my love of caring for cancer patients. I received my Master’s Degree in Nursing/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2002 from UNMC. I returned to UNMC and received my Adult Nurse Practitioner certification in 2011. Prior to joining NCS in October of 2019, I worked in Pain Management and then Palliative Care. I have always been drawn to the Oncology world and it is an honor to care for our wonderful patients and families here at NCS.

I was born and raised in Northeast Nebraska. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter as well as spending time with friends and family. I also love traveling and my favorite place is anywhere with a beach.
