Committed to providing exceptional care and continued support to patients, families and caregivers.

I have been in the nursing field for 18 years. My nursing career began as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Creighton University. While working there, I returned to school to work on my Masters of Nursing. I graduated with my Master’s degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse from Creighton University in May 2005. I worked with CHI, Nursing Home Network, as a Nurse Practitioner and provided care for patients undergoing skilled rehabilitation as well as long term care after graduating. In then switched career roles and took a position with the hospitalist group at CHI and worked as a hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at night. In July of 2016, I joined Nebraska Cancer Specialist as a site Nurse Practitioner at Legacy and switched to the role as Dr Block’s Nurse Practitioner in October of 2017. I became a nurse because my grandmother fought her own battle with breast cancer and I was truly inspired by the group of nurses who provided care. Working in oncology has provided me opportunities to impact the lives of many patients and families as they face their own journeys battling cancer as well as learning opportunities to continue to grow as a Nurse Practitioner. I am humbled daily and feel very privileged to be able to provide care to this group of individuals and their families and feel truly blessed to be a part of each one of their stories as they develop.
