As someone who frequently interacts with many healthcare providers in my professional role, I have developed a broad perspective on what quality care looks like. When I personally needed to see an oncologist/hematologist, I knew based on my experience speaking with his patients and hearing about their experiences that Dr. Ramaekers was the provider I wanted a referral to. Since beginning care under Dr. Ramaekers, I have consistently felt listened to, validated, and genuinely cared for—an unfortunately rare experience in healthcare. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire team. From the front desk staff, to the nurses who check me in, to the providers I see during appointments, the level of professionalism, attentiveness, and compassion has been exceptional. Most recently, Jamie, who provided my annual checkup, took the time to listen carefully and ensured that my medication was both effective and affordable. It was remarkable to feel that the providers at this clinic truly care about their patients—not only their physical health but also their overall well-being, including economic considerations. Whether it is my first visit with a provider or my hundredth, this level of genuine care is consistently evident.
