David Crockett MD
“I’ve learned that it takes more than medical knowledge to provide excellent care in this field. I strive to make an empathetic connection with all my patients and ensure good communication.”
Dr. David Crockett is a board certified hematologist and medical oncologist in central Nebraska. He graduated from Creighton University and completed both his Residency and Fellowship at University of Nebraska Medical Center. Through the Fulbright U.S. Student program, Dr. Crockett was fortunate to have lived in Barcelona and is fluent in Spanish.
Empathy and good communication are important to Dr. Crockett in order to deliver excellent care alongside his medical knowledge and expertise. He is interested in research and clinical trials for the future of cancer treatment. Advancements are being made every day and he enjoys staying on top of new treatment options and available trials for patients.
Outside of providing patient care, Dr. Crockett enjoys traveling, listening to sci-fi and self-improvement audio books, watching soccer and spending time with his wife, Libby, and their two young children.
