Emily Christensen MSN, APRN-NP

Compassionate care, clinical excellence, and building trusted relationships are what motivate Emily in providing care to patients at Nebraska Cancer Specialists. She is dedicated to supporting patients and their families through every stage of their care, with a focus on improving quality of life and helping individuals thrive, regardless of diagnosis. Emily believes strong provider-patient relationships are foundational to delivering meaningful, whole-person care.

Emily earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She also loves traveling, exercising, and reading, and values time spent recharging with her family.

You’ll see Emily most often in NCS’s Central Nebraska clinics, including St. Francis Medical Center, GI Regional, and Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
