Dr. Dorius received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, serving as Chief Fellow during his final year of fellowship. He is board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Nebraska Medical Association, Nebraska Oncology Society, and the Metro Omaha Medical Society. Outside of clinics, Dr. Dorius enjoys spending time with his wife and their six children.

- From my diagnosis, through CT scans, surgeries and treatment, every doctor and nurse I've seen and interacted with has been absolutely wonderful. Compassionate and caring, friendly, supportive. I can't say enough about the care and support I've received from the Methodist Health System and Nebraska Cancer Specialists. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give them a 10++++++>
- Friendly, caring staff. I like that my doctors meet on Thursdays and discuss patient cases to figure out the best treatments. I also like the fact that Dr. Dorius has a scheduler, and she is amazing! Everyone knew how to pronounce my name from the start. I am very impressed with the nurses who administer chemo.
