Dr. Timothy Huyck’s own personal life has been touched by cancer, and these experiences have provided him with a perspective, which has been invaluable to providing support to not only the patient, but also their family and friends.
Dr. Huyck appreciates the opportunity to educate nurse practitioners, residents, and fellows who round with him, on the advancements being made each and every day which allow for personalized treatments, maintenance of quality of life, and increased duration in life.
Having been raised in Omaha, Dr. Huyck enjoys providing a multi-specialty approach to treating patients in his community. He resides with his wife, twin boys, and the family dog, Ranger. Dr. Huyck enjoys all outdoor activities, visiting National Parks with his family (he’s been to 38 of the 58 so far), and coaching his sons’ soccer teams.

- My time here has nothing but excellent. From my Dr to the ladies in the treatment center, to the time I walk in. These are very special people to me and they treat me very well. I love them all.
- New check-in process didn’t work. Tried to check in when initial text was sent. Couldn’t get past the COVID section even though we haven’t had symptoms or been exposed. It kept saying call the clinic. On the day of our appointment while at the clinic, another check-in text was sent. It made no sense so I deleted it. Then I find out it was still needed. The kind receptionist explained the process, resent the request and we got signed in. Not sure how this improves customer service. God help the elderly who don’t use technology regularly.
- Due to road work, it is extremely confusing and dangerous trying to find one’s way to the hospital/cancer center. Signage showing detour route is critically needed.

- Always a good experience. this tine however, I felt like i was forgotten in the waiting room waiting for having labs taken. Someone recognized the situation and corrected it. However, the young woman in training was not at all prepared to take blood and my reaction was of some anxiety. The young man training her, however, took over and things went extremely smoothly after that. When the two of them came to get me from the waiting room, the young woman seemed totally unconcerned, shuffled slowly toward the lab, did not speak to me, struggled with finding a vein, then struggled to get the correct labels on the vials. THANK goodness for the young man with some experience. He and the gentleman who was apparently his own previous trainer - between them they created some fun and caused laughter for myself and the other woman waiting for labs also. Those two were priceless! Good save professionals!!!!

- On recent visit I had to use your new sign in program. My internet at home was down so to me I did not care to do that. It ask for phone numbers which I had to look up then lost all & had to redo. I don’t want you automatically taking payment out of my debit as I’m low income & just don’t have money at times. Afraid you would overdraw my acct. other than that I love all the nurses, my dr & the employees are the best!! Always happy with all of you!

- Everything about the care at NCS is excellent! And I love Dr. Hyuck! The only thing I do not like is the online/text pre-registration. I don't like giving personal information, especially credit card information to a third party. It usually only takes 2 minutes to sign in upon my entry for my appointment, anyway, so don't know that the "pre-registration" is saving anyone any time--if that is the goal. Why complicate a seemingly smooth process? Especially since a lot of your patients are elderly and not so tech savvy? Thank you, Ida-Marie Hebrank

- The online site that reports test results no longer shows the acceptable ranges for each test unless you go into each test individually. I miss seeing the acceptable ranges next to each test. The new online checkout process is kind of long. I’m sure I’ll get use to it.
