Dr. Mary Huerter Wells, Nebraska native, joined Nebraska Cancer Specialists after completing her fellowship in medical oncology and hematology. She has a background in palliative medicine and a special interest in breast cancer. Dr. Huerter Wells enjoys taking a personal approach as a partner to individuals diagnosed with cancer. She spends the time to educate patients and their loved ones on understanding their diagnosis and choosing the treatment option that is best for them. Dr. Huerter Wells has two young step sons and loves testing new recipes on unsuspecting loved ones, imagining what her dogs would say if they could talk and coercing her husband into playing board games.
