Katie Smith, PA-C

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where I received my Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating in 2006, I joined an oncology practice and have spent my career caring for cancer patients. I am nationally board certified and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. I had the privilege of joining Nebraska Cancer Specialists in 2017. As members of my own family have experienced a cancer diagnosis, I understand how deeply cancer can affect a person and their family. It is my passion and privilege to provide compassionate care for patients and their families as they walk their cancer journey.
