About Kirsten Leu MD, FACP
I was born in Evanston, IL but spent most of my time growing up in the Chicago suburb of Mount Prospect. I attended medical school at the University of Iowa and completed my residency in Wisconsin and my fellowship in Michigan. As a medical oncologist, I enjoy listening to my patients and together we decide on a course of action. Most of my free time is spent with my husband and our three children attending their various sporting events. I also enjoy Hawkeye football, supporting local charities, and going for walks.

- I would recommend this practice because of the wonderful care I have received from Dr. Leu and the nurses in the treatment room. - Doctors are very thorough and take time with each patient. My doctor was unavailable today, so I saw Timothy Shew. He took the time to thoroughly explain options to me and didn’t seem rushed at all, even though he was helping with my doctor’s patients.

- The road construction around the facility caused me to be a little late for my appointment. It would have helped to know ahead of time about the traffic route/ construction .
- I was told to arrive and that my appointment was at 11. I arrived at 10:50. I was not taken back from the waiting room until 11:35. The provider was very very good. She answered all my questions. She took her time. She explained things in detail. I really felt like we created a plan together. Her nurse case manager could tell I was a little overwhelmed. She also took the time to answer my questions and really made me feel like my care is important to her.
