Kristin Busse

Kristin Busse
MSN, APRN

Originally from Stuart, Nebraska, a small town in north central Nebraska, Kristin grew up on a dairy farm as the youngest of seven children and has a twin brother. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and her Master of Science in Nursing from Clarkson College in Omaha. She serves as a float provider across all Nebraska Cancer Specialists clinics.

Prior to her current role, she spent nine years serving in the Nebraska Army National Guard, including a deployment to Iraq from 2005–2006. Her background in gastroenterology has strengthened her clinical expertise and attention to detail.

Kristin is passionate about delivering compassionate, empathetic care and recognizes the profound impact cancer has on both patients and their families. This perspective is deeply personal, shaped by her experience supporting her brother and his family through advanced cancer.

Outside of work, she is a devoted wife and mother of three. Her family stays busy with hockey, gymnastics, volleyball, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially camping and traveling on road trips, and volunteering in her children’s activities.
