NCS Continues to Grow!
At Nebraska Cancer Specialists, we are excited to announce the addition of two highly skilled physicians to our growing team: Dr. James Schwarz, and Dr. Timothy Dorius. Their expertise and dedication further enhance our ability to provide comprehensive, compassionate cancer care.
Dr. Schwarz received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Duke University and his fellowship at University of Missouri Columbia. Dr. Schwarz is passionate about empowering his patients through education and support, believing that informed patients are better equipped to make decisions about their health and treatment. He has a strong background in the latest advancements in cancer therapies and is committed to delivering comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the patient’s journey.
Dr. Dorius received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, serving as Chief Fellow during his final year of fellowship. He is board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Nebraska Medical Association, Nebraska Oncology Society, and the Metro Omaha Medical Society. Outside of clinics, Dr. Dorius enjoys spending time with his wife and their six children.
Their arrival underscores our commitment to expanding our capabilities and providing the highest level of care to our patients. By combining their expertise with the resources available at NCS, we are confident that Dr. Schwarz and Dr. Dorius will play pivotal roles in providing cancer treatment to our community.
