Nebraska Cancer Specialists Welcomes Dr. Smriti Sharma
Nebraska Cancer Specialists (NCS) is pleased to welcome Dr. Smriti Sharma, MD, medical oncologist and hematologist, to our team of physicians. She
joined NCS in September, bringing a patient-centered approach to cancer care across Omaha and surrounding communities.
Dr. Sharma earned her medical degree in Bangladesh, completed her internal medicine residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, and her hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH).
Dr. Sharma believes that every patient deserves care as unique as they are. She takes time to listen and understand each person’s needs, preferences, culture, and values. “I’m honored to join this team and to provide compassionate, personalized care for patients and families in our community,” said Dr. Sharma.
Dr. Sharma is now seeing patients at NCS clinic locations across Omaha, including the Henry Lynch Cancer Center at CHI Health Bergan Mercy, Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center, and the Midwest Cancer Center at Legacy.
