PFAC

Patient and Family Advisory Council

Founded in 2016, our patient and family advisory council serves as a direct link to enhancing the patient and caregiver experience at NCS. Working with NCS employees and volunteers, the PFAC shares experiences and feedback that help shape services, programs, and decisions that impact patient care.

Members of our patient and family advisory council guide the development and implementation of a wide range of projects serving to:

Advocate: For expanded patient and family services, education, and programs
Partner: With NCS employees, volunteers, current and former patients and caregivers
Implement: Patient friendly initiatives, service recovery, communication, electronic health and admin record systems
Improve: Infrastructure and physical spaces for care and support

  • Members of our patient and family advisory council meet in-person six times a year.
  • The meetings are around 90 minutes long and include a lunch or dinner depending on the time of day.
  • We ask that you commit to participating for one year.
