I was in for a blood draw and I have been told by others I need to tell the person drawing my blood I have small veins and they roll. I conveyed this information and was told they always use butterfly needles. I have had this particular person draw blood on me several times at Methodist and now at Legacy. I find it disturbing enough to tell you that she has the most uncomfortable technique. I always have had pain both during and after the draws with this person. This time completed with unnecessary bruising. I have had multiple blood draws with other people and experience no discomfort or bruising.
