Tara Hunke MPAS, PA-C

Respect and honesty are central to Tara Hunke’s approach to patient care at Nebraska Cancer Specialists. She is dedicated to supporting patients and their families throughout their cancer journey, with a focus on preserving quality of life and providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. Tara considers it a privilege to walk alongside patients during such an important and vulnerable time in their lives.

Tara earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, caring for her two rescue dogs, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and attending concerts.

You’ll see Tara most often in the Methodist and Bergan clinics at Nebraska Cancer Specialists. She is a member of the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants (NAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
